The Chemical Distribution Institute(CDI) and Responsible Packaging Management Association of Southern Africa (RPMASA) are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoU) between the two institutes.
Following on from a conference in Durban earlier in 2016; aimed at raising the bar in Supply Chain Safety and Compliance, the overlap in a significant number of aims and objectives between CDI & RPMASA was soon recognised. Consequently, CDI is currently running a training course for its International Marine Packed Cargo Audit Scheme(IMPCAS) in South Africa aimed at rolling out the CDI risk reduction audit scheme to the wider audience in Southern Africa.
The MoU between CDI & RPMASA is specifically aimed at continuing to promote Responsible Care in the region as well as mutual cooperation in the fields of safety, security and quality performance of marine transportation and storage for the chemical industry.
